The BMW Continental-Teves Integral ABS II non-servo ABS module was used in BMW motorcycles from approximately 2006 to 2012. This system does not have a servo booster and is typically associated with Continental Teves ABS modules.
Typical symptoms of a malfunction include the ABS warning light on the dashboard, an ABS error after startup, diagnostic errors related to pressure sensors, electronics, or communication, as well as partial or complete loss of ABS function.
It is recommended to address such defects promptly, as the ABS system is essential for motorcycle safety, especially during emergency braking situations.
Repairs are possible; they are performed at a specialized service center and come with an official warranty.
🛡The repair includes a 1-year warranty.

Description
The BMW Continental-Teves Integral ABS II non-servo ABS module was used in several BMW motorcycle models from approximately 2006 to 2012. This system differs from the previous servo-based generation in that it does not have a servo booster. These modules are typically associated with Continental Teves ABS systems.
This generation is simpler than servo ABS systems; however, over the years, these modules can also develop typical defects related to electronics, pressure sensors, hydraulic components, or communication issues. In some cases, an ABS error appears immediately after starting the motorcycle; in others, it appears after riding or following a system self-test.
Most common symptoms:
- ABS warning light on the dashboard;
- ABS error after starting the motorcycle;
- The ABS system fails the self-test;
- Diagnostic errors related to pressure sensors;
- Errors related to the ABS control unit or electronics;
- Communication errors with the ABS module;
- The ABS function operates erratically or fails completely;
- The error code reappears even after being cleared;
- The ABS does not activate as expected during braking.
It is not recommended to ignore such malfunctions. Although this is not a servo-assisted ABS system and the motorcycle can retain its normal braking function, a faulty ABS unit means that the system may not operate correctly during emergency braking situations. This is especially important on wet surfaces, gravel, or other low-traction conditions.
What the repair includes:
- Initial diagnosis of the ABS module;
- Inspection of electronic components;
- Inspection of hydraulic components;
- inspection of pressure sensors and common defects;
- repair or replacement of damaged or worn components;
- post-repair testing of the unit;
- preparation for return to the customer;
- official warranty for the repair.
Purchasing a used ABS unit is not always the best solution, as even a used unit may have age-related defects or an unknown history. Repairing the original unit allows you to preserve the motorcycle’s original system and avoid unnecessary compatibility or coding risks.
How the process works:
1. You fill out a repair request form with information about your motorcycle and the ABS issue.
2. We review the information you provided and, if necessary, contact you for clarification.
3. The ABS module is removed from the motorcycle.
4. You ship the ABS module to us, or we’ll help arrange for it to be picked up from your address.
5. The module is sent for specialized repair and testing.
6. After repair, the ABS module is shipped back to you.
7. You reinstall the module in the motorcycle and perform a system check.
If you’re not sure whether your motorcycle has this specific ABS module, fill out the application form and include the motorcycle model, year of manufacture, symptoms, diagnostic codes, and, if possible, a photo of the ABS module. We will help you identify the correct ABS type.
Repairs are covered by a warranty. The warranty terms apply to the repaired ABS module but do not cover the costs of removal, installation, transportation, or other external work, unless specifically agreed upon separately.
